Yrene Ramirez is a testament to the transformative power of education, perseverance, and the healing power of animal-assisted intervention. From high school dropout to becoming the first graduate of the Animal-Assisted Intervention for the 21st Century Program through La Sierra University's Criminal Justice Department, Yrene's journey is one of resilience, determination, and passion.

 

As Chief of Staff for the Animal-Assisted Intervention Program, Yrene plays a pivotal role in shaping the program's vision and strategy, leveraging her firsthand experience to drive meaningful change and impact. Her dedication to the program's mission and her commitment to supporting others on their journey towards success exemplify her leadership qualities and unwavering dedication to making a difference.

 

In addition to her role in the Animal-Assisted Intervention Program, Yrene is also part of the content creation team, an aspiring forensic photographer, professional dog trainer, walker and sitter, as well as a certified decoy. Her diverse interests reflect her creative spirit and her desire to explore new avenues for personal and professional growth. Whether behind the lens capturing the intricacies of forensic evidence or working with dogs to enhance their training and behavior, Yrene's passion for her craft shines through in everything she does.
